Here's the thing about Home Architecture:
it has 3 different levels of Potentiality.
Shelter evolved from a simple need for protection: PHYSIOLOGICAL NEEDS + DEFENSE.
Similar to the bottom of Maslow's Hierachy of Need, 'home' had to do with survival.
But eventually shelter evolved up to the next level of potentiality: AESTHETICS + FUNCTIONALITY.
The AESTHETICS AND FUNCTIONALITY tier is where modern architecture sits.
Modern designers are obsessed with things looking good and working well.
But here is a truth bomb many don't realize:
If you care about being healthy + self-actualized, aesthetics and functionality can actually work against your personal growth.
